When contemplating the EU one doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry. When it says it’s united over the issue of Ukraine, it is not. It says it doesn’t want to fight Russia, but in fact is a co-belligerent on the side of Ukraine. It is determined to deeply damage Russia’s economy, but in doing so damages itself.
