While all eyes are still on counting and recounting the votes, the 2020 US presidential election has already tabulated what’s been known all along – that the United States is one of the most politically polarized countries on the planet, with little agreement on its own history or the path forward and, above all, what it means to be an American today. How is this schism going to influence the next four years for America and the world?
