The USA is a rogue state

The show this week opens with Lee reviewing a recent push in the media to classify the US as a rogue state that doesn't live up to its role as a leader on the world stage. As he notes, this argument completely ignores that the US has always used violence, intimidation, and deceit to achieve its own goals. This behavior is nothing new. In the second half of the show Anders Lee comes on dressed as the Monopoly man to report on how the 1917 Espionage Act has been used by both Obama and Trump to scare potential whistleblowers from revealing the US’ ‘rogue’ activities. Then Naomi Karavani caps the show off with a look at a recent case where a Californian energy utility shut off power to its clients to prevent forest fires. The company, PG&E, had decided to spend money they should've spent on updating their equipment on lobbyists and PR consultants.

The USA is a rogue state
With reality now seeming like a Shakespearean comedy, perhaps only comedy can truly bring truth to the people. DC-born comedian Lee Camp and a talented cast do just that with RT America’s first comedy show - Redacted Tonight with Lee Camp.
