Maxim Vladimirovich Ryzhenkov has served as minister of foreign affairs of Belarus since 2024. Born in Minsk on June 19, 1972, he joined the Ministry in 1994. He served at the Belarusian Embassy in Israel from 1996 to 2000 and in Poland from 2003 to 2005. He also headed the foreign policy department of the Presidential Administration between 2006 and 2012, and served as First Deputy Head of the Administration from December 2016 until his appointment as Foreign Minister.
