Three servicemen killed after shootout in Russia’s south
Three servicemen have been killed and nine others were injured when their military convoy came under attack in the southern Russian republic of Ingushetia. Despite a major counter-terror operation, none of the militants were captured.

According to Russia's Interior Ministry, gunmen ambushed the servicemen on a forest road near the city of Nazran.

They reportedly attacked the military vehicles with automatic weapons and grenade launchers.

In a separate incident in the republic, a suspected suicide bomber has been killed in a car explosion. There are no reports of any civilian injuries.
