Golfer Tadini leads Russian Challenge Cup

Italy’s Alessandro Tadini has gone top of the leaderboard after Day 2 of the Russian Challenge Cup.

Tadini made light work of an otherwise tough course, scoring an eight-under 69.That's despite a windy chill and menacing clouds descending on the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course.“This course is very nice. I’ve been playing here for three years and I like it very much," Alessandro Tadini told RT. “This year the conditions are a bit different. The green is a little bit slow and soft, but the course is always good.”Close behind the leader are Chile's Mark Tullo and Englishman Chris Lloyd, who are tied in second with two shots back on six under par.The Challenge Cup, held at Tseleevo golf course, is one of the country's biggest golfing events in Russia, with total prize money reaching 250,000 euro.
