Rogge announces three new disciplines for Sochi 2014

Three new sports will make their Olympic debut at the Sochi Winter Games in 2014.

Ski slopestyle, snowboard slopestyle and the snowboard parallel special slalom will be included in the Games’ program for the first time.The announcement was made by International Olympic Committee President, Jacques Rogge.The head of the IOC was in Durban for a meeting of committee members who will vote on Wednesday on who will host the 2018 Winter Olympics.The three cities in the running are Pyeongchang in South Korea, the German city of Munich and Annecy in France.
