Thursday’s FIFA decision will provide a huge boost for building new football schools all over the country, believes Ivan Dubinin, who is an analyst with Moscow's Lokomotiv football club.

“I hope we’ll see new football schools being opened all over the country trying to bring up new stars like Arshavin and Kerzhakov,” he said, adding, “And the question now is whether Russia will be able to win the World Cup, because everything is possible in football.”On Thursday, Russia won the right to host the football World Cup in 2018 following the vote in the FIFA headquarters. Thus, history was made in Zurich, as this will be the first ever major football event held in the country. Many children have been inspired and will be training hard and achieving great results, thinks Kirill Gomelsky, sport analyst.“Look at the bid that we have with that kid playing soccer all over the country! Perhaps tonight is the night, when many kids all over the country are going to bed dreaming about this moment,” he told RT.“One of the most exiting things about winning this bid is that kids all over the country will want to play, to train, to grow up to prove that they have the right to be there, to earn that right,” Gomelsky added.
