Players from Italian women's volleyball club Imoco Volley Conegliano have celebrated their championship victory in an unusual way – by stripping off in the locker room and posing behind the strategically-placed trophy.
Wearing nothing but gold medals around their necks, the players were pictured hiding behind the glittering chalice which they won after a fierce five-set-thriller against principle rivals Igor Gorgonzola Novara.
Imoco Volley Conegliano retained their status as the strongest team in Italian women’s volleyball for the second consecutive year.
The moment of the squad’s celebration was shared by Joanna Wołosz, a Polish player from the Italian team, who also posed with the Cup donning just her ‘birthday suit.’
Imoco Volley Conegliano and Igor Gorgonzola Novara will face each other again on May 18, as both teams qualified for the Champions League Super Final which will take place in Berlin, Germany.
