Liverpool was leading 4-0 in the match against West Ham when a boy climbed over the advertising hoardings and ran onto the pitch straight to the Egyptian forward who reacted with class and dignity by hugging the youngster.

The 26-year-old player, who scored a goal for his side on Sunday chatted with the boy, before kindly escorting him off the field.

This however was not the first time when the forward’s behavior has been warmly met by the huge army of his fans.

At the end of July Salah met a Syrian fan during Liverpool's pre-season tour in the USA.

The 16-year-old boy who suffers from muscular dystrophy was overwhelmed with emotions when his idol came to visit his family in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Also in July, Salah’s Cairo home was mobbed by hundreds of fans after his address was leaked on social media.
Instead of being angry or irritated by privacy intrusion the footballer came out to sign autographs and take pictures with fans who had flocked the area outside his house.
