France's 1-0 victory over Belgium may have been routine, but its supporters don't care one jot. Streets of most major cities across the country turned into spontaneous festivals on Tuesday night.

Samuel Umtiti's goal in the 51st minute guaranteed France a place in the World Cup final, where they will meet the winner of the Croatia-England match.

And while there was some bus scaling involved, as during England's celebrations, the major magnets were fountains in town squares, historical monuments, and statues of national symbol Marianne.

"Qui ne saute pas n’est pas français!" ("Whoever doesn't jump is not French!") was also a popular chant among the more energetic revelers.
