Russia continued their Confederations Cup preparations with a 3-0 warm-up win over Hungary in Budapest on Monday night, although the victory was soured by a serious-looking injury to midfielder Roman Zobnin.
Zobnin was stretchered off after 33 minutes with a ligament injury, after twisting his knee badly while attempting to block the ball.
The Spartak player is now set to miss the Confederations Cup, doctors from his club side say, according to Sovetsky Sport.
The injury marred a 3-0 win for Confederations Cup hosts Russia.
Fyodor Smolov opening the scoring with a superb solo goal on 20 minutes.
Hungary defender Marton Eppel helped the ball into his own net from a corner on 40 minutes, and substitute Dmitry Poloz secured the win in the 89th minute with a deflected strike.

The focus was as much on Zobnin as the result, though, and the player will be a big loss to Russian coach Stanislav Cherchesov.
The Spartak midfielder enjoyed a successful season that saw him help his club team to their first Russian title in 16 years.

Key men Artyom Dzyuba and Alan Dzagoev are already out of the tournament with injuries.
Russia now face a friendly against fellow Confederations Cup participants Chile at VEB Arena in Moscow on Friday, before they meet New Zealand in St. Petersburg in the Tournament of Champions opener on June 17.
