Spanish third-tier player Javi Gomez joined the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Sunday afternoon when he scored from a long-range bicycle kick, helping his Spanish Segunda Division B side UD Socuellamos to a crucial win.

In a tight game between two promotion playoff hopefuls, Gomez scored the decisive goal when 20 minutes from time, he jumped to control a long ball on his chest before effortlessly jumping up in the air and scoring a remarkable overhead kick from 30 yards out that the goalkeeper was powerless to stop.

Gomez, a 33-year-old striker who already has 13 goals to his name this season, helped his side to move above Sunday's opponents CD Tuledo in the league table and into the Group 2 playoff places with just three matches left to play.

And here is Zlatan Ibrahimovic's amazing 30-yard bicycle kick scored in an international friendly between Sweden and England on November 14, 2012. Sweden won the game 4-2, and in the build-up to the game there was plenty of criticism of Ibrahimovic's supposed inability to perform well against English sides.
