Tyson Fury’s rematch with Wladimir Klitschko has been confirmed for July 9 in Manchester, according to a tweet from Fury’s uncle.
Peter Fury tweeted the news on Friday morning.
Tyson Fury, 27, won the WBA, IBF and WBO titles from Klitschko last November in Dusseldorf, when he beat the Ukrainian on a points decision.

Klitschko had a rematch clause in the contract for the first fight, which he chose to active.
Reports state that the bout will take place at the 20,000-capacity Manchester Arena, despite Fury's earlier hopes that he could secure the fight for Manchester United's Old Trafford ground, which has a capacity of over 70,000.
Fury has courted controversy throughout his career, being criticized last year for comments he made about homosexuality and women.
He was also stripped of one of his titles by the IBF, after refusing to defend his belt against mandatory challenger Vyacheslav Glazkov. Fury instead opted for the rematch against Klitschko, which is sure to be a big box office draw when it takes place in July.

Fury is Manchester-born, meaning a vociferous home crowd will be expected for the fight.
