A social media campaign is underway to find the owner of a makeshift Messi jersey. A picture of a young boy, believed to be from Iraq, wearing a plastic bag as a jersey, has won the hearts of football fans who hope to present the kid with a real one.

The image of the young fan, who appears to be wearing a makeshift Argentina jersey with Lionel Messi’s number 10, has spread like wildfire throughout social media after appearing on Turkish fan blogs.

People have been sharing the photo in the hope of locating the child and grabbing the football star’s attention.
