Iran: Choice or sham?

Presidential elections in Iran have been described as a sham before the polling stations even opened their doors. Critics believe the vetting process to which candidates are subjected leaves no room for free and fair vote. But is the Iranian electoral system so different? Oksana takes up the issue with Reza Pahlavi, the son of the last shah of Iran whose US-assisted rule did away with many of Iran's grass-roots democratic institutions.
