Chemical disposition

The year 2013 has been truly remarkable as far as chemical weapons are concerned. We’ve seen both their use in Syria’s warzone and a massive international effort to eliminate them. And while some progress has been made, the greatest challenge of transporting the weapons safely out of the country still remains. With some delays already plaguing the project, can we really expect the full destruction of Syria’s chemical arsenal by mid-2014? Oksana is joined by Ahmet Uzumcu, the head of this year’s Nobel Prize-winning OPCW, to unravel these issues.
