Below rock bottom? Charles Kupchan, senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations

If there’s one thing the Russians and Americans have in common, it is a deep-seated and historically tested belief that the passage of time reveals the moral truth. From St. Augustin to Martin Luther King, from President Obama to President Putin and now President Biden, all have associated themselves and their causes with the right side of history. But is the divide between good and evil indeed so stark?
