Women rise, men fall? Gulden Turktan, founding president of the W20

When it comes to debates on gender equality, one of the most common arguments you’ll hear is – men have it all, women have less, and what women do have, they’ve had to fight for. But if you look at the data, girls do better than boys in school, are less burdened by illness and addiction, and commit suicide in far fewer numbers. Is the gap between the genders really as punishing as many claim? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Gulden Turktan, founding chair of the W20.

This interview was filmed at the Eurasian Women's Forum in St. Petersburg.
