Rude awakening? Ft. Nicolai Petro, political science professor at University of Rhode Island

Donald Trump bowing out of a G20 meeting with Vladimir Putin doesn’t seem like a big deal, given the already poor state of affairs between the two countries. But the manner in which it was cancelled – over Twitter, without as much as a courtesy call – may sting the Kremlin more than the cancellation itself.
