Mean about town? Michal Murawski, anthropologist of architecture at UCL

Karl Marx famously claimed that it's the being that determines consciousness rather than vice versa – a maxim that Russian city planners have recently taken to heart with much greater eagerness than their Soviet predecessors. As the wave of urban make-overs moves across the country, will they change the way the Russians live and how they think? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Michal Murawski, anthropologist of architecture, UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies.
