Live & let die? Ft. Nyuta Federmesser, Head of Moscow’s Centre for Palliative Care

Title: Nyuta Federmesser, Head of Moscow’s Centre for Palliative Care

Death is the last thing anyone would want to talk about on New Year’s Eve, but in Russia it has become a source of hope and renewal. Palliative care, barely existing just two decades ago, now provides one of the most inspiring examples of civil activism, not only influencing governance but becoming part of it. How can the way people die change the way they live? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Nyuta Federmesser, Head of Moscow’s Centre for Palliative Care and founder and member of the board of The VERA Hospice Charity Fund.

The VERA fund helps terminally ill adults and children around Russia.
