Tough love diplomacy? Ft. Sameh Shoukry, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Trump administration may be unconventional in many ways, but like all its recent predecessors, it also wants to try its hand at mediating the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The US delegation led by the president’s adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is expected to visit the region this week, with stops in a number of Arab capitals, including in Egypt. Is the current administration equipped to take on a challenge like this, especially given the divisions at home? Oksana is joined by Sameh Shoukry to discuss these issues.
