Giddy by association?

“Geography is destiny” has long been an axiom in geopolitics and trade, but it is now being contested in Ukraine. In 2014, the country's new leadership proclaimed that from now on, Ukraine has only one direction – to the west, which effectively meant the severance of all ties with the east. Three years on, how has this experiment fared? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by a prominent Ukrainian politician, Viktor Medvedchuk.
