Australia's recent hawkishness set the stage for what many expected to be a grand showdown among world leaders at the G20 summit in Brisbane. But instead it was all smiles, handshakes and cuddles. And while diplomacy may have prevailed at the event, it hasn't always been the case in international relations. How useful is the G20 as a platform for promoting cooperation, and to what extent has Australia shaped world events in recent years? Oksana is joined by Bob Carr, former Australian Foreign Minister, to negotiate these issues.
