On hold for now: The US continues to plan ‘regime change’ for Iran

Who wants a war with Iran? Not Europe, not the American people, certainly not Iran and most of its neighbors... so who? Well, Israel certainly does. And if Israel wants it, the US government will definitely push for a conflict. So far, the Trump Administration has held off from a strike on Iran. But will that hold for much longer with the arrival of a carrier group in the Persian Gulf? Time will tell, but analysts across the board believe a widespread war with Iran will be a catastrophe for the entire region, including Israel.
