Did you hear the one about the Jewish man, the son of a Rabbi, who got expelled from the Labour Party for anti-Zionism? Our guest this week has been opposing the Israeli government since Golda Meir, but he didn’t start off that way – he was brought up a Zionist. He came into the Sputnik studio to tell us about his upbringing and also about his expulsion from the Labour Party and about the ongoing war between Labour supporters of Israel and their opponents.

Prominent in the anti-war movement and Labour politics, it turns out that her story goes back further than that. So we invited Audrey to join us on the Sputnik sofa to tell us more.
