The US changed their strategy in Syria once the jihadists they wanted to use as a proxy became a threat, Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem told RT in an exclusive interview. He added that Israel also fuels the conflict in the country by supporting armed opposition, and that Hezbollah views the Assad government as the only legitimate one.
