Syria Air-Strikes: US Denies Involvement
The United States denies its involvement in an overnight airstrike which targeted pro-government forces in Syria and is now pointing a finger at its closest ally in the region. Stunner: Germany Loses to Mexico in World Cup opener
Washington Capitals head coach Barry Trotz stepped down less than two weeks after his team won their first Stanley Cup. Mexico decisively defeated Germany, handing them their first World Cup Opener loss since 1982. In golf, Brooks Koepka won his second consecutive US Open title, becoming the first to score back to back victories in the tournament since 1989.
