Kremlin meddling behind #ReleasetheMemo, top Dems claim
Representative Adam Schiff (D-California) and Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) insist that the Kremlin is “again exploiting Twitter and Facebook” to manipulate public opinion, alleging that “Russian bots” are pushing for the release of an explosive classified memo presumably detailing FISA abuses by the Obama administration and anti-Trump bias in the DoJ and FBI. Max Blumenthal, senior writer at AlterNet, points to “News with Ed” that Democrats and “never-Trump” Republicans are exploiting the Russia-gate narrative “to get the tentacles of the surveillance state into Silicon Valley.”
Net Neutrality returning state by state
Following the repeal of net neutrality by the Federal Communications Commission, Montana Governor Steve Bullock brought it back to the state through an executive order. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo soon followed suit. Will more states follow? RT America’s Ashlee Banks has the story.
