Vending machines for the homeless

Action Hunger, a UK homeless advocacy group, has debuted a special vending machine with things like blankets and bottled water, to alleviate problems of homelessness. It is accessible three times per day with a special keycard. Similar organizations in the US are considering bringing the machines to this side of the pond, depending on their success. US training ‘border force’ in northeastern Syria

According to the Defense Post, the ‘border force’ will eventually consist of 30,000 fighters. Half of them are from the YPG, a Kurdish group that operated under the banner of the Syrian Democratic Forces and fought against the Islamic State. RT America’s Dan Cohen reports.
