US military gives mixed signals on action in Libya
As Congress sits on a resolution that would authorize President Barack Obama to use force unilaterally in the fight against Islamic State, the US is considering re-launching military operations in Libya. The State Department is in hot water over the actions of the US Embassy in Yemen, as civil rights groups call on the department’s inspector general to investigate.
