Rise of the Right…it’s not just black & white

Nobody gets up one morning and suddenly thinks I’m going to choose racism and xenophobia over unity and community.

When those who are already economically disenfranchised become desperate they are susceptible to populist leaders who apparently have a ‘solution’.

But the scapegoating of the other means we lose focus on the real source of the problem…

So why do we not call out the exploitative economic conditions that always foster the rise of the right?
