Six UN workers are among 18 people killed in an Israeli strike on a school in Gaza, somewhere which had been deemed a safe heaven for the displaced. China confirms president Xi will attend next month's BRICS summit in the Russian city of Kazan. The news came during a gathering of the grouping in St. Petersburg for a security conference.
