Hundreds of children across the globe are struck down by an unknown inflammatory syndrome believed to have links to the coronavirus, with several cases now having resulted in deaths. A French drug giant comes under pressure not just from the country's government but also its people, after it prioritized giving a coronavirus vaccine to the US, because it had funded early research. The number of coronavirus deaths of UK care home residents, is 50 per cent higher than previously thought. The new data's emerged after the country's Prime Minister was this week called to account, for so-called 'unexplained' deaths in the sector.
