The US assistant Secretary of State defends Donald Trump's emergency arms deliveries to Saudi Arabia arguing before Congress that the exported bombs, dropped on Yemen, come with the American ideals of an open society and human rights. It's pointed out that as the UK hosts a media freedom summit on the same day, in the highest court in Europe, London has been busy defending the right to spy on journalists.
