RT News - April 07, 2018 (17:00 MSK)

As the double agent Sergey Skripal and his daughter begin to recover after last month's attack in Salisbury, his niece from Russia is refused a visa to Britain. RT speaks with the former head of the international Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons about the Skripal case, and also, how he was pushed from his seat, because he was against the US invasion of Iraq. The US blocks a UN Security Council move to investigate the deaths of protesters on the Gaza border - after at least ten Palestinians were killed in a fresh round of violence, including a journalist. Washington will not be offered a military base in Ghana - the country's president makes the announcement following mass protests. It comes as the US and other countries seek ways to become more entrenched in Africa.
