A potential act of terror is being investigated in France after a machete-wielding man attacked officers close to the Louvre. The assailant was reportedly heard shouting 'God is Greatest' in Arabic. French President Francois Hollande warns Donald Trump not to meddle in the EU's internal affairs, saying his country has a strong defence policy, and that it's not dependent on its allies. At a summit in Malta, EU leaders forge a plan to stem the flow of migrants from North Africa, while simultaneously attacking Donald Trump's immigration ban. And, Britain's defence secretary lashes out at Russia, claiming it deliberately lies and that its intervention in Syria has not primarily been about targeting Islamic State.
