Alcohol deaths Spike in UK — COVID restrictions to blame? (Full Show)

Deaths and hospitalizations arising from the COVID-19 are finally trending downward in the US. Meanwhile, the pandemic may be behind a simultaneous 16-percent spike in alcohol-related deaths in the UK in 2020. The pandemic has also seen an almost 50-percent increase in activity of UK food banks. Rick Sanchez dares ask: At what point should societies decide that economic and social lockdown does more harm than good? RT America’s Faran Fronczak reports on the increase in alcoholism and drug addiction as people struggle to cope with our era. Then RT’s Kate Partridge reports from the UK on the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on food insecurity and other issues facing poor and lower-middle class people. Lionel of Lionel Media, former UK MP George Galloway and Dr. John Dombrowski, MD join Rick Sanchez to share their insights.
