Some 700,000 Syrian refugees have been displaced within the past few days as the Syrian conflict spirals out of control. A Russian delegation in Turkey tried to negotiate a pause in the fighting but Turkish President Erdogan vows even deeper intervention on behalf of rebels in their fight against the Assad government.
