The News with Rick Sanchez - September 17, 2019 (19:00 ET)

JP Morgan caught manipulating markets (Full show)

Three JP Morgan executives have been charged under the RICO act for “spoofing the market” to generate criminal profits for the bank’s precious metals desk, from 2008 until 2016. Prosecutors vow to “follow the facts where they lead,” suggesting that more indictments may be ahead. RT America’s Michele Greenstein (in for Rick Sanchez) reports. Then we report on the issues underlying continuing unrest in Hong Kong and connections between its “democratic” political opposition and the National Endowment for Democracy, an NGO based in Washington. Prof. Mohammed Marandi of the University of Tehran shares his insights about Washington’s claim that Iran is behind the recent Saudi oil attack. Plus, RT producer Nebojsa Malic weighs in on remarks made by the US ambassador to Serbia that seemed to minimize the 1999 bombing campaign wherein NATO brought the country to ruin.
