Pompeo hypocrisy: Attacks Russia for exploring Arctic 

Years ago, as US media figures and politicians bickered over the reality of climate science, Russia realized that polar ice was melting and so began exploring and looking for shipping lanes. The arctic holds 13 percent of the world’s undiscovered oil and 30 percent of its undiscovered gas. Is it any wonder why US State Secretary Mike Pompeo says Russia is a “violent” country and that its Arctic ambitions need to be curbed? Rick Sanchez explains.

 

New Israeli ‘peace’ plan: Tell Palestinians to shut up  

Israeli-American veteran, human rights activist and author Miko Peled joins Rick Sanchez to discuss the “New Palestine” plan proposed by Jared Kushner to bring lasting peace to Israel and Palestine. It involves massive infrastructure projects, an elevated highway connecting the West Bank to the Gaza Strip, and incorporation of some Egyptian territory. Peled argues that “Palestinians get nothing” under the plan and that the people of Palestine will never accept it as it does not address their ongoing “genocide.” 

How close will asteroid Apophis come to Earth? 

RT America’s Michele Greenstein joins Rick Sanchez to discuss a recently discovered asteroid which is expected to pass just 19,000 miles from Earth in 10 years’ time. It is named for Apophis, the Egyptian god of destruction who wished to swallow the sun. Scientists are already discussing the possibility of destroying the asteroid, someday, should the need arise, via the use of nuclear weapons.
