US Drops record number of bombs in Afghanistan

Seventeen years ago, it occurred to Donald Rumsfeld that Afghanistan had too few targets to bomb and the Iraq presented a much more appealing target. But now, not only is the US still bombing Afghanistan, but this year we’ve seen more bombs dropped there than in any other year of the conflict.

Brazil’s Bolsonaro insults Cuban doctors

Cuba made the announcement that it plans to withdraw thousands of doctors from Brazil after Brazilian president-elect Jair Bolsonaro compared them to slaves and question their training. RT America’s Rachel Blevins reports. Then Eladio Jose Aermesto, vice president of the National Cuban Journalists Association, joins Rick Sanchez to argue that these “so-called doctors” sent abroad by Cuba should be regarded as the victims of human trafficking.
