Media, Republicans Slam Trump Over Summit
The mainstream media has had a field day with President Trump and Putin's meeting in Helsinki. For his part Trump remained firm saying President Putin was strong and criticized the media for not focusing on important issues. Putin also responded on Fox News saying before his election the Russian government did not put any special focus on Trump. RT America’s Anya Parampil from Helsinki.

‘Trump was crucified by news media’ – analyst

In the last 24 hours, President Donald Trump has been heavily criticized from allies and foe alike for his failure to publicly condemn alleged Russian election meddling at the Helsinki summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Back in US president Trump has said he accepts the US intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election, but said that Russia’s actions had no impact on the election outcome.
