Russia slams U.S. over move to cease oil fields

UN delegates met in Geneva, Switzerland ahead of launching the new Syrian Constitutional Committee in Geneva, Switzerland in an effort to stabilize the country. They emphasized that the peace process must be “Syrian owned and Syrian led.” Meanwhile, Turkey and Russia begin joint patrols of northern Syria and Russian FM Sergey Lavrov has denounced Washington as “arrogant” for keeping US soldiers in the country.
