News. Views. Hughes. - October 22, 2019 (17:00 ET)

Facebook has proposed new measures to combatting fake news and alleged election interference. Meanwhile CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s contacts with Democratic candidate Pete Buttigieg have come under criticism while some other contenders for the nomination are becoming more vocally critical of the social media giant. RT America’s Sara Montes de Oca reports for News.Views.Hughes. Then investigative journalist Ben Swann shares his insights. He argues that Zuckerberg demonstrably “doesn’t believe in free speech.”

Hilary Fordwich of the British American Business Association joins Scottie Nell Hughes to discuss the countdown to a new UK Parliamentary vote on PM Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal with the EU. She expects to see the “worst case scenario,” a no-deal Brexit on October 31. She also points out that the UK media is extremely biased against Brexit.

Scottie Nell Hughes celebrates the one-year anniversary of News.Views.Hughes on RT America and reflects on what means to bring news and analysis from all perspectives, each treated with fairness and respect.
