The State Department has imposed new rules to “impose reciprocity” on Chinese diplomats, who must now notify the US government before any visits with US officials or to certain institutions. China opposes the measure and said Washington’s rationale “doesn’t hold water at all.” RT America’s Michele Greenstein reports from Hong Kong for News.Views.Hughes.

Former Georgia state Rep. LaDawn Jones and Ted Harvey of the Committee to Defend the President join News.Views.Hughes to discuss the impeachment inquiry into President Trump. Then conservative commentator Steve Malzberg joins to discuss a week full of media failures, including ABC’s claim that a video from a Kentucky weapons demonstration was footage of Turkey’s military operation in Syria.

The law firm at the center of the infamous Panama Papers have sued the makers of “The Laundromat,” a movie about the scandal, for defamation. Legal contributor Mollye Barrows joins RT America’s Sara Montes de Oca (in for Scottie Nell Hughes) to remind us of the enduring significance of the Panama Papers.
