Beijing has more gold in its reserves than at any time in the past six years. China-watchers attribute the 100-ton increase to the country’s ongoing trade war in the US. US-Taliban talks 'marginalize' Afghan gov't

President Trump called off planned peace talks with the Taliban after a series of fatal explosions rocked Afghanistan’s capital city of Kabul. Former naval intelligence officer John Jordan joins Scottie Nell Hughes to weigh in. He argues that the explosions gave Trump “a way out” and that he’d already expected the talks to end in failure.
