Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro declared victory over anti-government rioters on Tuesday when the military failed to join in the “uprising” as opposition leader Juan Guaido had promised. US-China talks ‘can’t go on forever’
The latest round of US-China trade talks concluded in Beijing on Wednesday, with further negotiations expected in Washington next week. White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said that the talks will likely conclude within the next two weeks but didn’t offer a prediction as to what a final deal will look like.
