Huawei ban: ‘safety’ or politics?
Huawei continues to fight back against the US government ban on their products. In a filing to the FCC, Chinese telecomm giant Huawei said that the policy goal should be to get consumers 5G as quickly as possible and that “Huawei is ready to help build real 5G network in the US, through real competition.” Meanwhile, the European Union doesn’t appear to have any plans to ban Huawei despite US pressure. China’s ‘backdoor access’ to 5G better than US
